This book was actually the first planned in the Candlewick Lodge series – there are still 5 in the TBW pile, along with several more, but writer’s block is plaguing me and has been since November. Anyway, here’s the shiny new cover for Unchained Melody. No release date yet, but I’ll let you know.

The working blurb, because they get tweaked as well is:
Candlewick Lodge in Winkfield Green is the only home Raven Faulkner has ever known. When the bell, which according to legend rings to warn of danger, sounds on the night a tree falls on the lodge, Raven tries to convince herself it’s a coincidence.
Fame and fortune are not all they’re cracked up to be. Just as well after Isaiah Beringer’s meteoric music career takes a nosedive. He’s sure God wants him on the mission field, but every mission society he’s applied to thinks otherwise. He books into the Lodge, needing someplace quiet and out of the way to lick his wounds and figure out what God wants of him.
With the unexpected repair costs to the Lodge running high, the need to sell seems inevitable. Isaiah believes God has a better plan, but will he and Raven be able to convince her grandparents otherwise?
